We bring these principles and practices to each of our projects-urban and rural; corporate, commercial and residential-creating spaces that inspire human connection and fulfillment
This ground-up home is located in the scenic Hudson Valley. Located on a ridge overlooking the Catskill Mountain range. The form of the home is inspired by the neighboring agricultural buildings. Thirteen-foot-high glass panels integrate with custom stained cedar siding.
This home, sitting on a hilltop with water views, features a north-facing wall of windows that marks the great room incorporating the kitchen, living room and library into one fluid space. Structural beams run north and south, forming a rhythm for both the exterior and interior. The façade’s Alaskan cedar siding is detailed throughout to provide further articulation and texture.
Situated on a 4 acre hill top this new guesthouse defines one side of a court which serves as the entry point to the main house. Designed to compliment the existing modern home its entrance is defined by a skeletal structure that pulls you in. On the inside the rhythm of the exterior columns is picked up in the module of the windows creating a seamless transition. On the east side of the property off the main house a new pool was added designed to extend into the landscape and towards the Hudson Valley views.
This redesigned landmark 239-room hotel on the Sunset Strip, with an original design inspired by the LA Modernists of the ’50s and ’60s, has a unique history and place in rock-n-roll lore as the “Riot Hyatt” Hotel. The property features a rooftop with commanding views of the Los Angeles Basin and the Hollywood Hills.
AION Partners and The Carlyle Group sought to upgrade this 250,000 sf commercial office building located south of Dupont Circle. A glass pavilion provides additional retail space with customized detailing to provide a continuous experience between inside and out. A reconfiguration of the entry plaza and interior lobby further modernizes the existing structure.
