Hal Goldstein AIA, the Founder and Creative Director of HGX, has 30 years’ experience designing and managing a wide range of projects. His early professional background—not only in architecture but also in structural engineering, construction management and interior design—forms the basis of HGX’s approach: successful design begins with synchronizing these essential aspects of a project. To ensure this process, he actively communicates with his clients, from conception through completion.
Hal has worked with industry leaders across many fields, including finance, fashion, hospitality and the creative arts. From 1995 to 2020, as Co-Founder of JansonGoldsteinLLP, he was the Partner-in-Charge of projects for such clients as Loews Hotels, Universal Orlando, SLS Hotels, Hyatt, Daniel Boulud, Louis Vuitton, SL Green, Fisher Brothers Development and SOHO China. In addition during this time period, he completed residences in the Hudson Valley and the Hamptons and designed apartments and townhouses across Manhattan, from Park Avenue and Central Park West to Greenwich Village and Tribeca. These projects have been featured in Hospitality Design, Hamptons Cottages and Gardens, Luxe, Interior Design, and The Wall Street Journal.
