Originally completed in 2001 for the Giorgio Armani Corporation, this re-imagined 2025 version maintains its original personality with its cinder block walls juxtaposed to a sophisticated honed Jet Mist Granite floor. HGX principal Hal Goldstein, a founding partner and Managing Director of Janson Goldstein (1995-2020), along with his partner were influenced by their past visit to a 1995 Sol LeWitt exhibit at the Ace Gallery. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Goldstein attended an event at the Richard Meir designed Rachofsky House in Dallas where he first encountered the honed Jet Mist Granite floors. Unknowingly, these two experiences would later form the genesis for this concept —one that still speaks to the spirit of downtown and the Soho neighborhood.
